Contaminated Land Assessment

Determining the human health and ecological risks associated with site contamination

Advitech’s team has extensive experience in undertaking contaminated site investigation and assessment in support of the mining, energy, utilities, public and industrial sectors and providing assistance to our clients with development applications (DAs), property acquisitions and preparation of statutory assessment reports.

Our Principal Environmental Scientist – Contaminated Land has project managed one of Australia’s largest maritime pre-dredging contamination assessments, associated with the approval for development of the natural gas refinery at Curtis Island, Gladstone QLD and the baseline contamination assessment of soil, surface water, groundwater and sediment for a major coal fired power station in the NSW Hunter Valley, post-acquisition from the NSW State Government.

Advitech can assist with contamination assessment of a range of environmental matrices in both terrestrial and marine settings, including soil, sediment, soil vapour, groundwater, and surface water.
