Advitech receives OEH Award

The Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) invited Advitech to a breakfast event that recognised the outstanding environmental achievements of businesses in the Hunter Region. The Hon. Robyn Parker MP, Minister for the Environment and Member for Maitland, made presentations to local businesses. With the support of the NSW Government programs (including Sustainability Advantage, Energy Efficiency for Small Business, Energy Saver and Energy Efficiency Training Programs), more than 800 local organisations are reducing their use of energy and other resources and saving more than $8,000,000 per year.

Colin Barker and Michael Neville

Advitech’s Sustainability and Process Engineering Manager, Colin Barker and Michael Neville Advitech’s Technical Director (pictured right), attended the awards ceremony. They were proud to hear Advitech being recognised for its "contribution to outstanding business sustainability achievements in the Hunter Region" by David Trewin. The OEH Manager for Business Partnerships, including Sustainability Programs, also made very complimentary remarks about Advitech as we received the award. He also made a special mention of Colin Barker and the key role he played in the success of the Sustainability Advantage Program.
